QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
Management is convinced that the Quality and Environmental Policy, with particular reference to the principle of constant improvement, enhances the company’s position in the marketplace.
MISSION
To manufacture quality products that satisfy our customers in terms of needs (declared requirements) and expectations (implied requirements). This will be accomplished through leading-edge products, better performance, reliability as well as efficient and effective services. And everything at the best quality-price ratio, protecting the health and safety of everyone who works inside and outside the company organisation while respecting the environment and the people who live in the area.
GUIDELINES
The previously described policy is put into effect by:
- fabricating products that are validated and suitable for use;
- improving the production system to continuously increase quality and productivity, while protecting the health and safety of personnel and the environment;
- implementing a problem-solving approach that focuses on prevention;
- developing a highly-trained and motivated staff to work under safe conditions, for themselves and for others, with complete responsibility and awareness, whose fundamental values are honesty, truth and environmental consciousness;
- establishing long-term relationships with suppliers since they are our partners;
- maintaining a mutually beneficial relationship with suppliers, customers and everything related to the company;
- considering the importance of customer satisfaction;
- pledging to comply with all applicable national and community standards and with specific provisions to safeguard the health and safety of personnel and to protect the environment: such compliance is understood as a minimum starting requirement and not a final goal;
- performing a preventive analysis to determine any possible environmental impact prior to introducing new machines, plants, processes and products in order to prevent any form of pollution and by carrying out a specific risk assessment for personnel inside/outside the organisation.
Compliance with and application of the aforementioned guidelines will take place by establishing objectives, programs, goals and by planning periodic monitoring of such factors to check their status and adequacy. All this to seek continuous improvement and, based on company development, to support planning and implementation of specific actions to deal with situations involving environmental risk outside the ordinary management of industrial activities (emergencies).
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
Diminution of environmental aspects related to atmospheric and noise emissions;
Optimisation of waste recycling;
Conservation of natural resources;
Reduction of costs due to reprocessing;
Compliance with delivery dates;
Monitoring of customer claims.
Achieving objectives is planned and reviewed during the Management Review in order to confirm or, if necessary, redefine the policy and said objectives.
